After dedicating over eight years to designing and handcrafting the first T-Rex prototypes, Campagna finally showcased his creation at the 1994 Montreal Auto Show.

The initial model, known as the Concept 3, was hand-built in 1988 and marked the beginning of an exciting journey for Campagna Motors. The company went on to introduce other innovative vehicles, including the Voodoo off-road racer, which debuted in 1982.

However, from 1994 to 2000, the vehicle was only available in the Province of Quebec, Canada. In June 2004, Campagna Moto Sport granted exclusive manufacturing and sales licenses for the T-Rex to T-REX Vehicles Inc.

The T-Rex has undergone significant changes since its inception, with various updates and improvements made over the years. Despite facing financial difficulties and even briefly closing down in January 2019 due to bankruptcy, Campagna Motors announced new investors and plans to restart production and sales in February of that year.
